What I admire most about the Duchess of Cambridge is how her use of high street retailers connects her with the public. When Her Royal Highness wore a pair of CZ pearl-drop earrings by Heavenly Necklaces to Queen Elizabeth‘s Diamond Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving, royal watchers nodded in approval.
For the Royal Performance of Spectre on October 26th, Catherine borrowed her mother’s Robinson Pelham chandelier earrings.
The diamond, blue topaz and white gold earrings (worth over $21,000) were first seen on Carole Middleton as she left The Goring for the royal wedding’s evening reception on April 29th, 2011.
Like most women, Catherine has staple pieces in her jewelry box, namely pearl-drop earrings – some simple, some adorned with pave diamonds. Her most famous pair is made by Annoushka, worn on several engagements:
The silver and rhinestone drop earrings were worn to ‘Our Greatest Team Rises -BOA Olympic Concert’ at the Royal Albert Hall on May 11, 2012 in London, England. It’s believed that the earrings are costume pieces, but no one’s been able to confirm who they’re made by:
Pave diamond stud earrings (Catherine’s “Grace” earrings are made by Kiki McDonough):
Baroque pearl drops, worn when Catherine went by “Kate Middleton” (is that a baby face or what?):
Simple pearl-drop earrings, a favorite of Her Royal Highness:
Double pearl earrings:
CZ and pearl drop Earrings:
Diamond-drop earrings, of which Catherine owns a few different versions with different colored stones. The citrine and diamond ones Catherine wore to Cheltenham in 2013 are made by Kiki McDonough. Catherine also owns a similiar, though more understated pair.
The circular drop earrings are believed to be a 2011 Christmas present from the Duke of Cambridge.
HRH’s Catherine Zoraida double-gold leaf earrings, worn most recently on her visit to New York City, and for a dinner in Singapore during the 2012 Diamond Jubilee tour.
The Duchess of Cambridge borrowed blue sapphire and diamond fringe earrings once belonging to the Queen Mother for the 100 Women in Hedge Funds gala on October 27th in London.
