Good heavens, ma’am!  You’re naked as a jaybird and there’s a crown atop your baby bump.

American street artist Pegasus (think Banksy…but not) is responsible for this depiction of the Duchess of Cambridge a la Demi Moore-covers-Vanity-Fair-circa-1991, graffiti’d on the wall of Faith Inc Gallery in North London.  According to the Daily Mail‘s Sebastian Shakespeare, this cheeky image celebrates the support Catherine has given to that part of the city.  Continue reading

Hello, Duchess Diary readers! I’m Ella Kay, the writer and editor of The Court Jeweller, a blog about royal and noble jewels from around the world. Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had an “away day” in Wales, paying a visit to Pembroke Refinery, which celebrated 50 years of services (it was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1964).

Following that, Catherine and William attended the Wales vs Australian rugby game at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, which they traveled to from Pembroke via helicopter, according to the Daily Mail.  At halftime, the couple met with injured servicemen; tomorrow they will attend Remembrance Sunday in London.  Continue reading

‘Almost Royal’ Stars Crash The Britannia Awards, But No One Noticed

If there’s anything the Brits know how to do, it’s comedy.  Case-in-point: BBC America’s faux reality series, Almost Royal, which follows aristocratic siblings Poppy and Georgie Carlton on a tour of the USA.  Though the trip was brought on by tragic circumstances (their father accidentally shot himself when a bullet from his hunting rifle ricocheted off a “No Hunting” sign ), Georgie and Poppy appeared to have soaked up at least a Range Rover full of American culture.  Continue reading
