She may do a lot of the work herself, but the Duchess of Cambridge has sought out sartorial help in the past few years.

Last December, it was revealed that Natasha Archer – or “Tash” as she’s known to Catherine & Co. (per the Daily Mail) – was hired as a personal assistant to the Kensington Palace team.

The Kings College graduate soon began advising on style, and was seen going into St. Mary’s Hospital in July 2013 after Prince George’s birth.

This morning, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released two new photos of Princess Charlotte, taken by Catherine herself.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to be able to share two new photographs of Princess Charlotte,” both Kensington Palace and The British Monarchy shared on social media.

They were taken by The Duchess in early November at their home in Norfolk.  Continue reading

The Duchess of Cambridge loves making jam, and has been known to make a mean chicken roast.  So, in the entrepreneurial spirit of Real Housewives everywhere, she’s turning it into a business.

According to the Mail on Sunday‘s Charlotte Griffiths, Catherine is “working on a plan to get the nation hooked on her wholesome organic food recipes.”

Sources have reportedly told Griffith that Catherine is so into her organic veggie garden at Anmer Hall that she’s thinking of going the way of her father-in law.  Prince Charles has a range of organic products, Duchy Originals, which is sold at British supermarket chain, Waitrose.  The endeavor has raised over $16 million for charities since Charles started it over 21 years. ago.  Continue reading

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima Join Royals For Remembrance Sunday

Today marks Remembrance Sunday, a tradition in the UK and around the Commonwealth “to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.”


The Queen is joined by members of the royal family at Whitehall in London, where she lays a wreath of poppies at the foot of the Cenotaph, an “empty tomb” to honor soldiers whose remains did not make it back home.

The ceremony includes two minutes of silence and the “Last Post,” as well as a veteran march past the Centoaph to honor fallen soldiers.

Today, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands took part in the ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of the British liberation of Holland.    Continue reading

Will and Kate Join The Queen at Festival of Remembrance

For the first time together, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended tonight’s annual Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Their Royal Highnesses joined the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the Duke of York, Princess Anne and her husband, Tim Laurence, Princess Alexandra, the Duke of Kent, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.


The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are currently on a royal tour of New Zealand.

The festival, put on by the Royal British Legion, honors those who lost their lives in battle.  Attendees enjoyed performances by Rod Stewart, Pixie Lott, Andrea Bocelli and Gregory Porter, featuring the Central Band of the Royal Air Force, the Queen’s Color Squadron, the Band of HM Royal Marines, and the Band and Pipes of the Brigade of Gurkhas. Prince Harry and The Duke of Edinburgh Visit The Field of Remembrance

November is a poignant month in Great Britain and around the Commonwealth,  in which the royal family leads services of remembrance for fallen soldiers as far back as World War I.

You’ll notice that the royals and public figures don a “remembrance poppy,” used to commemorate those who have fallen (its origins inspired by the war poem, “In Flanders Fields.”)
