Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are on a three-day tour of Cornwall and Devon, and today they met the least impressed human in the area.

5-year-old Ella Cameron joined her father, Andy to meet the Prince of Wales (who also holds the title, Duke of Cornwall) at the Royal Navy Lifeboat Institution.

“She was really looking forward to it, mainly because she didn’t have to go to school,” Cameron told the Telegraph

“She understands that one day he is going to be King, but going to the school disco tonight is probably equally as important.”

Disco and dancing > meeting your future King.

Cameron, the owner of four surf shops, told Charles that he gave Princes William and Harry lessons over the past ten years whenever they visited the seaside town.

“He asked how long I have served with the RNLI and what I did for a living,” Cameron recalled of his conversation with His Royal Highness, whom he described as “really relaxed” and “really nice.”

“When I told him I had been with the RNLI for 15 years, he said I looked too young.

“He said to Ella the same thing and she smiled and laughed.”

That’s the least she could do!

Charles and Camilla wrap up their tour tomorrow, just two days before his grandson, Prince George turns three.

People‘s Simon Perry reports that the birthday boy will be feted with a tea party at Anmer Hall, the Cambridge’s 10-bedroom home in Norfolk.
