This is precisely what Crown Princess of Mary did for the August cover of Australian Vogue, her second since marrying the heir to the Danish throne in 2004.
Mary and Crown Prince Frederik were shot by Mario Testino, who’s responsible for other royal photo ops including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s engagement, as well as Princess Charlotte’s christening.
Testino shot the couple at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, where he himself will open his first solo exhibit.
Mary donned a tiara and a black ball gown by Australian designer Alex Perry for the cover photo, as she walked arm-in-arm with her husband on the palace grounds. Continue reading
