It’s the struggle each woman faces while out.

What should I do with my cardigan/blazer/jacket?

I was too warm while wearing it, but now I’ve taken it off and I’m cold.  But I know in a few minutes I’ll be too warm again.

She might not yet be two, but Princess Charlotte endured this struggle today at a children’s party for military families in Victoria, Canada.  Continue reading

Watching live CTV coverage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s arrival in Victoria, Canada was exciting AF.

Sure, it was a little less exciting than their inaugural visit back in 2011, when the newlyweds – nay – everyone was basking in a post-royal wedding glow.

Fast forward five years, and there are two kids added into the mix.

The newly married Royal Couple are on the second day of their first joint overseas tour. Ottawa is the start of a 12 day visit to North America which will take in some of the more remote areas of the country such as Prince Edward Island, Yellowknife and Calgary. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s 2011 tour of Canada was my first introduction to a royal tour (albeit from afar).

With the help of royal reporters on the ground, other bloggers and I were able to identify items that would come to be synonymous with the name “Kate Middleton.”

There were also, of course, quirks here and there that those of us who’ve been covering Her Royal Highness have come to recognize (hello, Marilyn Monroe moments!).  Continue reading

These photos may have been taken four years ago, but they will always reflect an Olympic spectator’s mood.

How do you feel?  Are you nervous?  Frustrated? Can you not stand to look?

Wonderful, there’s a photo for that.

Since the Duchess of Cambridge opted not to attend the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics (one cannot blame her, since Zika virus is a real threat), we instead must bookmark this page for a guide on how to feel when your favorite athlete is going for the gold.

Go ahead, bookmark this page.  I’ll wait.

Ready?

Take your mark..GO!

5 Ridiculous Tabloid Covers That Declared William and Kate King and Queen

Redbook

If I’ve learned anything from glancing over the weekly rags, it’s that gold stickers are a fantastic way to trick people into thinking a headline is real.

Henceforth, I daren’t believe a word any publication states unless it’s stamped with a gold sticker (are you listening, Simon Perry?).

Every story is the same – Prince Charles is being skipped over in favor of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for the British throne because Queen Elizabeth said so!  Camilla is jealous AF and swears she will exact revenge on the beautiful Duchess for messing up her plans to rule over the kingdom!

My favorite part of these tabloid covers is the placement a tiara atop Catherine’s head (bless Photoshop).  And each cover will almost always show Prince William in his Colonel of the Irish Guards uniform (because that’s very regal-looking, no?).  Continue reading

Rare are the occasions we see a royal partake in manual labor (save for Princes William and Harry).

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series on the Solent, a straight that separates the Isle of Wight from mainland England.

Catherine is patron of the 1851 Trust, a charity run by sailing champ Sir Ben Ainslie that aims to get youths involved in the sport.

Today, wearing her Land Rover BAR polo, skinny jeans, Kiki McDonough’s “Lauren” gold leaf earrings and Monsoon wedges, Catherine met some of its members in Portsmouth.  Continue reading

What a splendid treat it was to see His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge at RAF Fairford on Friday.

The Duchess of Cambridge (in a Stella McCartney blue dress and Smythe blazer) and Prince William surprised the crowds by bringing along the 2-year-old (who turns three on July 22nd).

Yes, there was a minor meltdown at the beginning, but things improved greatly once George was shown aircrafts.

The young heir *recorded his day as part of a school project: “What I Did On My Summer Vacation.”  Continue reading

Prince George Is Already Playing Tennis, Might Be A Lefty

She’s been a fan of the sport for years, so it comes as no surprise that the Duchess of Cambridge has already put a tennis racket in her son’s hands.

At Wimbledon today, Catherine spoke spoke with former British tennis player Greg Rusedski about getting Prince George involved in the game.

“She talked about George, her little boy, playing tennis,” Rusedski said, according to the Telegraph.

“He’s got a racket and he enjoys playing tennis, and obviously she plays with William, so they obviously enjoy the sport very much.”

Catherine reportedly complained that playing against Prince William is “frustrating,” since he’s left-handed (we lefties have an advantage on the court).

Oh my sparkles, am I delighted that Her Royal Highness chose to re-wear that gorgeous, show-stopping Jenny Packham gown we first saw five years ago at the ARK gala.

The setting sun in King’s Lynn, England provided perfect lighting for Catherine’s entire look, which consisted of a chic AF up do, the Queen’s chandelier earrings and those darling L.K. Bennett bow heels.

Tonight’s engagement was the must-anticipated gala dinner supporting East Anglia Children’s Hospice nook at Houghton Hall, owned by the Cambridge’s friends, the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley.
