Today, His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge issued an official statement in response to part two of Prince Harry’s interview with Good Morning America.
While speaking with journalist Robin Roberts, Harry admitted that he was looking forward to having children
“I can’t wait for the day. So, you know, it will be fantastic,” he told Roberts.
“I’ve got a kid inside of me. I want to keep that. I adore kids. I enjoy everything that they bring to the party. They just say what they think.”
For the time being, Harry enjoys being the “fun uncle” to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
“You’ve got to have fun in life. Otherwise, wow, imagine life without fun,” Harry said. “You’ve got to be taken seriously, but I hope that I’m a fun uncle.”
The heir to the throne responded as such:
Re: Prince Harry’s “Fun Uncle” Declaration
It has come to my attention that Prince Harry called himself the fun uncle during a recent interview in the colonies America.
I can confirm that my father’s younger brother is, in fact, the “fun uncle.” I would go as far to say that he is, perhaps, jollier than my commoner maternal uncle who makes marshmallows for a living.
Whilst watching Harry’s interview today, I laughed heartily thinking back on the times when he would allow me to stuff pieces of cheese up his nose. His complexion during those candid moments was not unlike that of Father Christmas, and his breath smelled like the pub Grandmother Middleton always takes me to.
I shall treasure these fond memories always, especially as I prepare to ascend the throne in due time.
I hope to grant Harry a grace & favor apartment at both Kensington Palace, where he likes to watch the sun come up with questionable company, and dress like a bar patron from Made in Chelsea (wretched show, but mother likes it and hides the clicker) , as well as at Windsor Castle, where he can “dry out” at the weekend (at press time, I dispatched an aide to look up its meaning).
I thank you for your interest in our family as we continue to be the example of the modern day monarchy: Quasi-traditional with a dash of normality thanks to my dear mother’s plebian relatives.
