As soon as their flight left American soil, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge became fair game for bloggers, reporters and columnists alike, all eager to share their opinions on why William and Catherine didn’t exactly make a “splash” in New York City.

While I thought they did a fine job, I hesitate to express an opinion one way or another. Instead, I’ll share some of the most popular stories that circulated since yesterday morning. I’d love to know what you all think.
- The Daily Maily’s Jan Moir’s peanut gallery headline, which the Mail stressed it did not agree with. #Neverchange
- The New York Times isn’t impressed with William and Catherine’s attempt to be normal.
- One blogger question the appropriateness of the Cambridge’s visit to the National September 11th Memorial.
I’m quite looking forward to Camilla Tominey‘s column in this Sunday’s Daily Express. The royal reporter has held a lively debate on Twitter since covering the Cambridge’s trip to Manhattan.
